    World Lupus Day

    The 10th of May is world lupus day; an important day and opportunity to raise awareness for lupus and improve understanding and support for people with lupus. As a chronic condition, especially with children and young adults, lupus requires ongoing medical care and management that can interfere with consistent school attendance.     Mental Health Awareness Week

    Mental health is extremely important for education and this mental health awareness week runs from the 11th to the 17th of May; the theme this year set by the mental health foundation for this is to Take Action. Although awareness is vital, real change comes when people take action; this can come in the form of action for yourself, for someone else and collectively for everyone in the UK.     Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD)

    Global accessibility awareness day this year is the 15th of its kind; the aim is to encourage discussion, thinking and education on digital access and inclusion. Digital accessibility is a key focus and refers to how easy it is for the independent consumption of web and digital media by people with impairments or disabilities.
