The 10th of May is world lupus day; an important day and opportunity to raise awareness for lupus and improve understanding and support for people with lupus. As a chronic condition, especially with children and young adults, lupus requires ongoing medical care and management that can interfere with consistent school attendance. Mental health is extremely important for education and this mental health awareness week runs from the 11th to the 17th of May; the theme this year set by the mental health foundation for this is to Take Action.
